Galaxial Lauer is an aspiring author located in southern Florida. One of the key things that defines them is the fact that they have Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID - which, until 1994, was called Multiple Personality Disorder or MPD). This makes writing a unique process for them, as they have over 200 alters and have to somehow organize the writing so that it gets done seamlessly. This is an aspect of their life that they have managed, organized, and all but perfected in their 23 years of life.
Despite his struggles with mental health, he has many works of progress - which can be found with descriptions on the "Works" page, and is a senior at Southern New Hampshire University majoring in Creative Writing with a concentration in fiction. They are set to graduate in October of 2024 and are planning on going back to Southern New Hampshire University for their Masters in Education and Creative Writing, once again with a concentration in fiction. They have also managed to land a seat in three prestigious honors societies (National Society of Leadership and Success, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the international honors society for English majors, Sigma Tau Delta). |
From The Beginning |
Where They Are Now |
Galaxial Lauer, whom uses all pronouns, has been writing since they were a small child. Even at the ages of 5 - 6, they were writing on scraps of paper or telling stories to whomever would listen. Due to a traumatic home environment while growing up, they suffer from Dissociative Identity Disorder. However, they have not let this affect their life or their love for writing in any way. In fact, in their opinion, it only makes their writing stronger. They see this disorder as an opportunity to educate others about it and help dismantle their horrible stereotypes surrounding through their writings, both fiction and non-fiction.

As stated previously, they have a mental condition that they are working into their working, studying, and writing lives. They hope to educate others in the future with their writing. They have aspirations to, one day, find the courage to write a story with a character with their disorder as the protagonist to help dismantle the harsh stereotypes surrounding the disorder - look for it in the future on the "Works" page! |
